             was presented to
    New Zealand Government

The Dhammapada was blessed by the Sangha and the Buddhist community members at Sammapatipadarama Monastery in Napier on Saturday, 1st May 2010

The Dhammapada was presented to Mary Harris, The Clerk of the House at 3 PM of 12th July 2010

Venerable Jinalankaro (Narong Tubtim), Venerable Sucitto (Kenneth Garrod) and community members have represented the Sammapatipadarama Monastery and International Buddhist Foundation to attend this special ceremony together with Chargé d’affaires, Mr. Nontawat Chandrtri from the Royal Thai Embassy, and the Sangha from several Buddhist monasteries in Auckland and Wellington.
